Previous requirements

Mandatory requirements

There are no mandatory prerequisites.

Recommended Requirements

It is convenient for participants to have basic knowledge of computer tools (ofice), as well as to have knowledge about the different types of financial and statistical assets.
Participants will benefit from their previous experience in one or more of the following fields:
Marketing
Database Management

Programming Mathematics

None of the knowledge is, in principle, exclusive. The simultaneous lack of experience in all the aforementioned fields will make the student the task of monitoring the course more difficult.

Teaching and learning methodology

Methodology

The teaching methodology will be online.

Each session will begin with the analysis of the current market situation both in terms of macroeconomic data and technical analysis. Students will make a report before the theoretical contents are enabled and share their vision together. The idea is to motivate the students so that the solutions presented fall into a context in which the value they add can clearly be appreciated and they can estimate their probability and quality of success in their analysis.
After the presentation of the theoretical contents, a correction of the approaches made by the students will be carried out.
Next, several financial assets will be presented, which must be analyzed, in addition to having to present the operations approach using the information studied. The forum will be used as the natural environment for the presentation of queries and corresponding responses.
The bibliography on which this course is based is the Advanced Stock Market Analysis Manual by Agustín Burgos Baena, a manual that has 1500 pages where all the concepts established in the agenda are given.
The evaluation of each unit will be through the dynamic of "multiple choice" and voluntary.
At the end of the course, a multiple choice integrator will be enabled that will allow students to assess student achievement.

Educational modality

Description and type of educational modality

The modality is totally mediated by technologies through MOODLE.
The activities that will be carried out will be:
Weekly discussion forums proposed by the teacher (one forum per unit).

Consult the teacher through e-mail or chat.

Dictation of a class in real time through a Synchronous Virtual Classroom (AVS)

Weekly reading material and by thematic unit.

Individual and / or group activities of weekly practical application and by thematic unit.

Weekly evaluations and by thematic unit based on practical work applying the knowledge acquired.

It is a basically asynchronous modality with the complement of the AVS, which exceeds the self-study instance by the implementation of proactive forums coordinated by the teacher-tutor and teaching classes in real time. The forums fulfill four fundamental pedagogical-didactic functions: 1) They are the place for the presentation of the doubts, queries and critical opinions of the students; 2) They are the main space for generating feedback (feed back) between teachers-tutors and students and students among themselves; 3) It is the specific place for discussion, coordinated by the teacher-tutor, of all the topics covered in the modules of the specialty or course and 4) It is the place for peer learning of students. In turn, the AVS allows complementing all those pedagogical-didactic instances that indicate limits to the purely asynchronous modality.

Evaluation and accreditation

Evaluation

In the case of a technology-mediated modality, active participation in the forums by students will be a necessary condition for approval. Therefore, to accredit the approval of the specialty or course, students must successfully complete the evaluations that the teacher-tutors determine as mandatory and have actively participated in the forums. Finally, a final exam in multiple choice must be passed.

Accreditation

The accreditation will consist of a certificate in which they recognize that they have successfully passed the course.
